Data Sources & Licensing
This project aggregates public weather, energy and demographic data. Each source has its own license and attribution requirements; the specific credit lines are below. Consult each source's terms before any commercial redistribution.
- NOAA GEFS / GEFS34 / CFSv2 / AIGEFS — US Government public domain: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP). Public domain.
- NOAA GFS analysis (observed baseline) — US Government public domain: NOAA/NWS. Public domain.
- NOAA ASOS station observations (via Iowa Environmental Mesonet) — NWS public domain; IEM collects from public resources: Data from NOAA/NWS ASOS stations via the Iowa Environmental Mesonet (IEM), Iowa State University.
- ECMWF ENS (IFS) & AIFS ENS — CC-BY-4.0: Contains ECMWF data under CC-BY-4.0 (ECMWF Open Data).
